The inaugural Australian Farriers' Conference was held in 2018 as the first of its kind in Australia. The 2nd annual Australian Farriers' Conference held in Surfers Paradise QLD in August 2019, again brought farriers together, both interstate and international, with a vested interest in continued education to share knowledge, experience and improving business management, job skills and horse welfare within the industry. The 3-day format is packed with relevant speakers, local and international delegates, latest research, technology and specialist sessions.
The Conference Team
Australian Farriers' Conference Pty Ltd is owned and operated by Co-Founders and Directors, Erin and Courtney Stevens. Erin is a Master Farrier and has established and run his own farrier business for the last 20 years. Erin has a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and has a strong focus on continued education. Courtney is an ex-RSPCA Inspector and Veterinary Nurse with a background in event management and education. Courtney has worked in the animal industry for over 20 years and has a personal interest in horses and animal welfare.
